This is a common recruitment drive for the following power companies of Rajasthan:

  • RVUN (Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd.)
  • JVVN (Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.)
  • AVVN (Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.)
  • JdVVN (Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.)

Salary & Benefits

  • During Probation (2 years): ₹13,500/- per month
  • After Probation: Pay Level-4, ₹19,200/- per month + allowances as per rules

Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed Secondary (10th) from RBSE/CBSE or equivalent board.
  • ITI (NCVT/SCVT)/NAC in relevant trades.
  • Knowledge of Hindi (written in Devanagari script) is mandatory.

Relevant Trades Include:

  • Electrician, Power Electrician, Wireman, Lineman, Fitter, Welder, COPA, Boiler Attendant, and more.

Final year ITI students can also apply, but must submit proof of qualification before document verification.


Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

  • RVUN: Max 31 years
  • JVVN, AVVN, JdVVN: Max 30 years

Age Relaxation is available for:

  • SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS: 5 years
  • Women (RVUN only): 5 years (General), 10 years (Reserved)
  • PwBD: 5 years (additional)
  • Ex-Servicemen, Apprentices, In-service candidates, Widows, Divorcees: As per rules

How to Apply

  1. Fill in details, upload documents:
  • Photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm, 20–50 KB)
  • Signature (10–20 KB)
  • Left Thumb Impression (20–50 KB)
  • Handwritten Declaration (50–100 KB)
  1. Pay the application fee:
  • UR/General: ₹1000/-
  • SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS/PwBD/Saharia: ₹500/-
  1. Submit and take a printout of the application and fee receipt.

Selection Process

  • Two-Tier Online Exam:
  • Pre-Exam (Screening) – 100 marks, 90 minutes
    • General Awareness (40 Minutes – 50 Marks)
      1. Elementary Maths & General Science – 10 Questions, 10 Marks
      2. Current Affairs, Geography and Natural Resources, Agriculture & Economic Development, History & Culture of Rajasthan – 35 Questions, 35 Marks
      3. Current Affairs, Geography and Natural Resources, Agriculture & Economic Development, History & Culture of India and World – 5 Questions, 5 Mark
    • Technical Knowledge (50 Minutes – 50 Marks)
      Technical Knowledge and skill based on syllabus prescribed for the concerned group – 50 Questions, 50 Marks

  • Main Exam (Final) – 150 marks, 120 minutes
  • No interview – final selection based on Main Exam score.
  • Negative marking only in Main Exam.
